I am not sure who named this time “offseason” but my guess is that they were NOT players. Yes, I did have a wonderful few weeks fully”off,” (as documented in my first post), but it is currently only Nov 13 and my first tournament will be starting Jan 4 in China. Which, if I’m not mistaken, still leaves me over 1.5 months to do some “dirty.” And by “dirty” I mean every type of track workout imaginable, weights, shuttle runsandplyos and… You get the point. There is a lot of work to be done during offseason since it is the one time a year where we can really devote a period of time longer than 2 weeks to get ahead physically.
