My Predicted Winner in BOLD (Great slate of matches today)
Roger Federer (3) vs. Denis Kudla – I would not be shocked to see Kudla make a good showing, but then again Federer crushed Tomic in Australia
Feliciano Lopez (15) vs. Marcos Baghdatis – This could go either way, but Lopez has been more consistent.
Marin Cilic (24) vs. David Nalbandian– Another match that could go either way. I think the veteran wins.
Fernando Verdasco (19) vs. Ryan Sweeting – Verdasco has not been spectacular so an upset is possible, but I think Verdasco wins.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (6) vs. Michael Llodra – Llodra needs to lose after his first round display.
Juan Martin del Potro (9) vs. Marinko Matosevic – Both players are in good form, but I think Delpo has too much.
Juan Ignacio Chela (31) vs. Denis Istomin – Veteran power?
Marcel Granollers (26) vs. Tommy Haas – Am I too sentimental?
Gael Monfils (14) vs. Nikolay Davydenko – A little man who likes to take the ball early vs. a big guy who stays way too far back. I think court positioning wins this for the Russian.
David Ferrer (5) vs. Grigor Dimitrov – Ferrer is playing too well to lose to the talented Dimitrov.
Jurgen Melzer (20) vs. Thomaz Bellucci – Melzer should win this one, but I love Bellucci’s shot making.
Janko Tipsarevic (10) vs. Gilles Muller – If Muller serves well, he can win.
Milos Raonic (27) vs. Carlos Berlocq – Another game for Milos!
Rafael Nadal (2) vs. Leonardo Mayer – The easiest pick on today’s slate of matches. Rafa advances.
Radek Stepanek (28) vs. Xavier Malisse – Veterans clash and for some reason I think the X-Man will advance.
