Maria Sharapova (2) vs. Maria Kirilenko (20)– I know Sharapova is playing well, but I think Kirilenko will repeat her 2010 Australian Open upset by making Sharapova move often enough to reverse the momentum of the match.

Marion Bartoli (7) vs. Ana Ivanovic (15)– I am picking Ivanovic if solely due to Bartoli’s odd rituals.

John Isner (11) vs. Gilles Simon (13) – I’d love to pick Simon, but I think Isner plays a style that will prevent Simon from grinding the former Georgia Bulldog down.
