Riding the play of Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic, Team Serbia shocked Russia on the Russians’ home turf 3-2 to advance to their first ever Fed Cup final with a chance to duplicate what their men’s squad did in 2010 in Davis Cup. Especially strong was Jelena Jankovic, who won both of her matches (against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Svetlana Kuznetsova) in straight sets.
