The top half semi-final; which is certainly worthy of being the final itself, sees Chinese superstar Li Na(5) take on, arguably, the greatest of all time Serena Williams(1).
The two have met nine times, with Serena victorious in all but one, way back in 2008. In 2013 they have met twice, in Miami and Cincinnati, Serena being victorious on both occasions 6-3 7-6 and 7-5 7-5 respectively.
