[7] Andy Murray (GBR) vs [23] Gael Monfils (FRA) – I have been impressed with Monfils’ play to this point.  He is in some of the best form of his career.  Murray though seems to have a level of focus and confidence I have not seen from him since WImbledon last year.  I think Monfils is catching Murray at the wrong time and see Murray winning in 3 or 4 sets.

[1] Rafael Nadal (ESP) vs [5] David Ferrer (ESP) – This was circled by most people when the draw came out and not because it is a rematch of last year’s one-sided final.  Ferrer beat Rafa in Monte Carlo to win their most recent clay court tilt.  I think Rafa likely gets the win even if Ferrer’s chances are much better than what he had in 2013.  I think Rafa wins in 3 or 4 sets.
