Rafael Nadal being beaten was not shocking.  We are still waiting on a grass court follow-up to the 2008 Wimbledon final.  Federer and multiple German players in the quarterfinal round mean the tournament directors are likely pretty happy about the state of things even with Nadal losing.

Dustin Brown (GER) vs Philipp Kohlschreiber (GER) H2H – Kohlschreiber reminded everyone of just how good he is versus Andy Murray at Roland Garros.
