Wimbledon 2014: Day 3 Ladies’ Singles Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

Centre Court

[4] Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) vs. Casey Dellacqua (AUS) – Aga should advance.

Court 1

[6] Petra Kvitova (CZE) vs. Mona Barthel (GER) – This is not as open and shut as it may look, but the former champion is my pick.

Court 2

[2] Li Na (CHN) vs. Yvonne Meusburger (AUT) – Na Li’s game is dangerous, but her confidence level is not there (yet).

Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) vs. [WC] Naomi Broady (GBR)

Court 3

[30] Venus Williams (USA) vs. Kurumi Nara (JPN) – Venus has a manageable draw thus far.

[8] Victoria Azarenka (BLR) vs. Bojana Jovanovski (SRB) – Vika with some health issues and rust to worry about, but I think she can do damage here if she plays her way into form.

Court 12

[22] Ekaterina Makarova (RUE) vs. Misaki Doi (JPN)

[10] Dominika Cibulkova (SVK) vs. [WC] Alison Van Uytvanck (BEL) – Cibulkova is a dark horse of sorts.

[26] Lucie Safarova (CZE) vs. Polona Hercog (SLO)

[12] Flavia Pennetta (ITA) vs. Lauren Davis (USA) – I have to pick some sort of upset.
