Rogers Cup 2014 Toronto – Day 4 Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

Yesterday, I got every match right so I hope the good times continue

[3] Stan Wawrinka (SUI) vs Kevin Anderson (RSA) H2H – Anderson certainly can win this match, but I think Stan is the clear favorite.

[1] Novak Djokovic (SRB) vs [13] Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA)  H2H – Novak had a long match with Monfils, but he has had so much success versus Tsonga in recent years I think Nole advances.

[8] Andy Murray (GBR) vs [12] Richard Gasquet (FRA) H2H – Murray looked sharp versus Kyrgios.

[6] Milos Raonic (CAN) vs Julien Benneteau (FRA) H2H – Milos ought to advance, but his matches in DC and long first match in Toronto might make him leg weary.

[2] Roger Federer (SUI) vs [15] Marin Cilic (CRO) H2H – This is no sure thing as Roger has typically played better in Cincinnati than Toronto/Montreal.  Cilic is having one of the best years of his career.

Grandstand

[7] Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) vs [17] Tommy Robredo (ESP) H2H –

[5] David Ferrer (ESP) vs Ivan Dodig (CRO) H2H – Dodig has enough game to upset Ferrer if he is not sharp.  Ferrer was not sharp versus Russell.

Feliciano Lopez (ESP) vs [4] Tomas Berdych (CZE) – I think Berdych should win, but if FLo can take care of his serve he will pull the upset.
