[2] Roger Federer (SUI) vs. Marinko Matosevic (AUS) – This match may be one of the harder parts of Roger’s first week draw.

Sam Querrey (USA) vs. Maxino Gonzalez (ARG) – Sam needs this.

[4]David Ferrer (ESP) vs. Damir Dzumhur (BIH) – Ferrer’s play in Toronto and Cincinnati was some of his best form of the year.

Jack Sock (USA) vs. Pablo Andujar (ESP) – Sock has a huge serve, a nasty forehand and will have crowd support.  Still, something tells me Andujar can make this into a battle of lungs and legs.

[20] Gaël Monfils (FRA) vs. [WC] Jared Donaldson (USA) – Gael should put on a show.

[25] Ivo Karlovic (CRO) vs. Jarkko Nieminen (FIN) – These two veterans should hold serve most of the time in their match.

Dmitry Tursunov (RUS) vs. Alejandro Gonzalez (COL) – If this were a blogging contest, I’d say Dmitry wins easily.  I think the veteran will find a way.

Tim Smyczek (USA) vs. Filip Krajikonovic (SRB)

Bernard Tomic (AUS) vs. Dustin Brown (GER) – MATCH OF THE DAY ALERT – The mental outlook of these two players will be a stark contrast that as a fan I want to observe.  On paper, Tomic should win, but with Tomic who knows.
