Indian Wells 2015: The Ides of March/March 15h ATP Predictions

Et tu Nick Kyrgios?

This is a GREAT Slate of Matches for those who Have Tickets

Predicted Winners in BOLD

[31] Jérémy Chardy (FRA) vs. Donald Young (USA) – Young has a bit of momentum so I will pick him in what I consider to be a 50-50 match.

[11] Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) vs. Nick Kyrgios (AUS) – Another 50-50 match … Dimitrov has not started 2015 as well as he started 2014.  Kyrgios has more weapons than Megatron.  Both are talented and flashy players.  I think Dimitrov needs this win more so I give him the slightest of edges.

[2] Roger Federer (SUI) vs. Diego Schwartzman (ARG) – Unless Federer debuts a Swiss Army Racquet with a spoon built into the handle, he wins today.

[3] Rafael Nadal (ESP) vs. Igor Sijsling (NED) – Not even Frankenstein’s Monster can save Igor today.

[6] Milos Raonic (CAN) vs. Simone Bolelli (ITA) – Milos’ serve will be the difference.

[7] Stan Wawrinka (SUI) vs. Robin Haase (NED) – This should be a fun match for fans.

[9] Tomas Berdych (CZE) vs. Sergiy Stakhovsky (UKR) – I think Berdych with his new coach is slowly building something very positive in 2015.

[29] Santiago Giraldo (COL) vs. Alexandr Dolgopolov (UKR) – Based on last year, I think Dolg likes Indian Wells.

[33] Gilles Muller (LUX) vs. Jack Sock (USA) – This is another 50-50 match.

[21] Ivo Karlovic (CRO) vs. Steve Johnson (USA) – I love Johnson, and if they had a skills competition, Johnson’s overall game would grade out higher.  Ivo’s serve and recent form have me picking him in another 50-50 match.

[17] Tommy Robredo (ESP) vs. Andrey Golubev (KAZ) – Robredo’s recent form has not been great.

[13] Gilles Simon (FRA) vs. Malek Jaziri (TUN)

[22] Richard Gasquet (FRA) vs. [Q] Michael Berrer (GER) – A mild upset?
