I thought Rafa would be in the final 4, but this is a nice slate of matches.
[1] Kei Nishikori (JPN) v [14] Martin Klizan (SVK) – Kei is handling the pressure of defending 500 points pretty well. Klizan will need to push Nishikori backwards to win this match. Klizan has the power to do that, but I am not sure he is steady enough to do it. Therefore, I think Nishikori returns to the final in a hard fought match.
[3] David Ferrer (ESP) v Pablo Andujar (ESP) – I love Andujar, but I think Ferrer already holding 3 titles in 2015 has to count for something. Ferrer played well enough in Miami and Monte-Carlo as well. Having a chance to win Barcelona obviously means a great deal to both Spaniards. Having said that I think Ferrer wins this match in a fairly routine manner.
