Elina acquitted herself quite well versus Serena in Melbourne

I have been wrong about both of these two players multiple times in this French Open.  I needed to do more homework on Svitolina to make an educated guess on this match.  It strikes me that the Ukrainian has great defensive and counter-punching skills.  If she does not get too nervous, I think she can absorb Ivanovic’s power well enough to pull the upset.  Ivanovic is obviously playing well to be in this spot.  I think Ivanovic will have to be quite patient to win this match.  Ivanovic has an experience advantage, and in heavy conditions she might be able to hit through her opponent.  So who wins?
