Firstly, here’s how I did in the semi-final predictions:

Ana Ivanovic defeats Lucie Safarova in three sets  (Wrong)

Serena Williams defeats Timea Bacsinzky in straight sets   (Correct winner but in three sets)

And the prediction for the final:

Williams defeats Safarova in straight sets

This prediction is dependent on Williams’ health being at par.  She managed to come from behind and win the semi-final despite very difficult health.  Her ability to do this shows what a stellar athlete she is.

The next post will show the men’s final prediction.  It would have been posted here had there not been a delay of one of the semi-finals.
