Since his victory at the Australian Open in 2014, Stan Wawrinka has often been labelled a ‘one slam wonder’. His remarkable win in Melbourne was followed by some inconsistencies, but overall, Wawrinka has maintained a very high level of tennis since that victory. Now, he has reached his second Grand Slam final after a spectacular run at the French Open, dispelling the myth that he is a one slam wonder, and showing that he is one of the best players in the world at the moment.
