French Open 2015 – Prediction for Men’s Final

Here’s my scorecard for the semi-final predictions:

Stan Wawrinka defeats Jo-Wilfrid Tsonga in straight sets   (Correct winner but in four sets)

Novak Djokovic defeats Andy Murray in straight sets   (Correct winner but in five sets)

And the final prediction:

Djokovic defeats Wawrinka in four sets

In forcing Djokovic to five sets, Murray has been the only player thus far to take at least one set from Djokovic – something that even Rafael Nadal couldn’t do in the quarter-finals.  While Murray could not defeat Djokovic, his renewed strength just might make him one to watch for in the upcoming Wimbledon tournament.

Wawrinka enters his second grand slam final.  After his surprise win of the Australian Open last year, he hadn’t kept up the same momentum for a while.  In getting this far, he just might be back on track at that high level once again.
