Rafael Nadal advanced to the Mercedes Cup final with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Gael Monfils on Saturday afternoon. Nadal did not drop serve a single time, saving all four of the break points he faced to prevail after one hour and 19 minutes.

The 10th-ranked Spaniard is through to his first grass-court final since Wimbledon in 2011.
