[1] Roger Federer (SUI) vs. [8] Ivo Karlovic (CRO) H2H – Dr. Ivo is capable of winning this match.  His serve is a massive weapon as Tomas Berdych was reminded of on Friday.  I am close to picking Karlovic, but Federer is close to a Halle lock.  I think Federer will be able to chip and block enough serves back into play to break Ivo often enough to win this match 6-2, 7-5.

[2] Kei Nishikori (JPN) vs. Andreas Seppi (ITA) H2H – Kei’s ability to take the ball early is a strength on grass.  I think his return of serve and overall offensive posture in rallies will push him into the Halle final.  I see Kei winning 7-6, 6-1.
