As the world’s most famous grass court tennis tournament moves ever closer, two of the All England Club’s most popular sons have added yet another title to their enviable trophy cabinets in their bid to prepare for the rigours of the only Grand Slam tournament to be played on grass.

Roger Federer, seven times a Wimbledon champion, claimed his 86th ATP World Tour title and eighth in Halle at the weekend, whilst Andy Murray celebrated his 50th tour final with a 34th title and fourth at the Queens Club in London. These two exceptional grass court players are no strangers to grass court success in the build up to Wimbledon, but how do these victories affect their chances?
