On July 12th, the Men’s Wimbledon final will take place. The two players are Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, the current ranked #1 and #2 players in the world, respectively. Each player has performed phenomenally throughout the Wimbledon tournament. Both deserve to be champions and both have been champions before. Djokovic has won Wimbledon twice before (2011, 2014) and has 8 Grand Slam titles to his name. He defeated Federer last year in the Wimbledon final, in an incredibly exciting 5 set game. Federer has won Wimbledon 7 times before (2003-07, 2009, 2012). Federer has 17 Grand Slam titles to his name, the most ever in men’s professional tennis. A Grand Slam is one of the following 4 tournaments: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
