Seppi and Sousa will be going head-to-head for the first time in their careers when they collide in round two of the Konzum Croatia Open on Wednesday. With a decent 21-14 record this season, Seppi is up to No. 24 in the world and in position for a top 24 seed at the U.S. Open. That would help him avoid draws such as John Isner in the first round (French Open) and Andy Murray in the third round (Wimbledon). A solid performer on all surface, the Italian also finished runner-up in Halle (lost to Roger Federer) during his grass-court campaign.
