I am mixing WTA and ATP Predictions Today as I have Been in Ill Health and Don’t Feel like Making 2 Posts.  (any mistakes I make will be blamed on my illness)

Predicted Winners in BOLD

[18] Karolina Pliskova (CZE) vs. Daria Kasatkina (RUS) – This should be a fun if under appreciated match. 

[10] Marin Cilic (CRO) vs. [15] David Goffin (BEL) H2H  – Cilic may be poised for a nice season.  Goffin is a tough player to beat, but I think if Cilic can dictate play he should win.  If Goffin can make Cilic move and prevent court positioning from favoring the 2014 US Open champion, Goffin should win.

[13] Victoria Azarenka (BLR) vs. Magdalena Rybarikova (SVK) – Vika got some love in yesterday’s mailbag by Jon Wertheim.  I think Vika advances.

[12] Milos Raonic (CAN) vs. [13] Gael Monfils (FRA) – Milos has already had a nice rebound from his less than ideal 2015 season.  I think he moves toward the top 5 so long as his health permits.
