[5] Simona Halep (ROU) vs. [19] Timea Bacsinszky (SUI) – This should be a fun match, but I think Halep is too athletic and consistent to lose so long as she is not overpowered outright.
[15] Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS) vs. [30] Ekaterina Makarova (RUS) – Kuzy certainly could win this match and is the higher ranked/seeded player. Still, I think Kuznetsova will likely have a let down after springing a huge upset. Makarova is always a tough out and if Kuznetsova has a let down the writing seems to be on the wall.
