My Final Picks

I think these two finals should be enjoyed in and of themselves.  My best guess is that Serena and Roger add to their Wimbledon winnings.  Still, the gentlemen’s final is so historically significant fans need to just enjoy this weekend.  My quick $.02

    Regarding the men’s final, tennis wins either way. For Federer, it would be yet another grand slam to his resume and return to #1. For Murray, it would be a great story of overcoming the pressure and expectations the media and UK has put on him. As a Federer fan, I wouldn’t mind seeing Murray lift the trophy Sunday, but of course I’ll be cheering for Roger.

      I agree. This match is so historically significant either way that I am trying not to say too much about it before hand as words aren’t really going to capture history before it happens. I’ll have words after the match either way. As a fan, I am pulling for Roger as always. As a lover of tennis, I just want to see what happens.
