1 Novak Djokovic vs. 12 Tommy Haas

My picks for the other quarterfinal matches were not good.  I hope to bounce back.  This match is the harder one to pick as Haas has had some success vs. Djokovic (i.e. Miami this year, Halle and Wimbledon in 2009).  Djokovic is also playing with a heavy heart.  Nole did not let an earlier 2013 loss to Dimitrov impact his French Open play.  Dimitrov and and Kohlschreiber were ideal sparring partners for preparing to face Haas.  I think Nole wins in 3 or 4 sets.

3 Rafael Nadal vs. 9 Stanislas Wawrinka

Stan is playing the best tennis of his career.  He is a fighter with a few weapons.  Still, this match should be Nadal’s to lose.  Wawrinka likely will be less nervous than he was in Madrid.  All things considered, Nadal should win in 3 sets.
