Dimitrov wins first ATP title, Haas snags 15th

Grigor Dimitrov triumphs in Stockholm by upsetting David Ferrer in three sets on Sunday. In Vienna, Tommy Haas wins a three-setter over Robin Haase.

Dimitrov captured the first of what are expected to be many ATP titles throughout his careers when be beat Ferrer in two hours and 10 minutes on Sunday in Stockholm. Playing in just his second final, the Bulgarian came out slow and won only two games in the first set. He got on track in the eighth game of the second set, with a break followed by a service hold to force a decider.

Ferrer had seized three breaks in the opener, but he could not solve the Dimitrov serve in sets two and three. The third-ranked Spaniard missed three break chances in the third, so one service donation of his own proved…
