Federer and Rosol will be going head-to-head for the first time in their careers when they collide in the quarterfinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships on Thursday. Rosol hopes this will transpire similarly to his first-ever meeting with Rafael Nadal, whom the Czech memorably defeated 6-7(9), 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 in the 2012 Wimbledon second round. The world No. 49 has since captured his first ATP title (Bucharest in 2013), but other than that it has been a major struggle.
