Dimitrov Rises to #14 w/ 3rd Career Title
Grigor Dimitrov won a 250 level event in Bucharest. His 2014 season has been hot and cold, but perhaps he is hot again after taking his second title of the year. His ranking has risen to a career high of #14. Dimitrov has the variety and young legs to play well on clay and at 6’3″ high bouncing shots should not bother his one-handed backhand too much.
Nishikori Rises to #12 w/ Barcelona Title
Kei Nishikori is making waves in 2014. He played well in Melbourne. He rallied to take out Federer in Miami and now wins the 5th biggest clay court event on tour. Nishikori will be in the top ten if he can stay healthy. I would not say that the pecking order has been destroyed, but Nishikori is one to watch in Paris.
