Rogers Cup 2014 Montreal – WTA Quarterfinal Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

[1] Serena Williams (USA) vs. [11] Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) – This could be a close match.  If Wozniacki can start eliciting errors at a decent rate, Wozniacki might pull the upset.  I still think Serena has to be the pick.

[14] Carla Suárez Navarro (ESP) vs. Venus Williams (USA) – Suarez Navarro keeps the good times rolling.

Ekaterina Makarova (RUS) vs. [Q] Coco Vandeweghe (USA) – Makarova knocked out Kvitova and should beat Coco.

[8] Victoria Azarenka (BLR) vs. [3] Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) – This is a hard one to predict, but I will favor the player who tries to dictate play even if she is on the comeback trail from an injury.

Well I think only one of your pick will come through.

I picked Serena and Makarova who both won and got two wrong. Not a great percentage by any means, but I don’t want to sell myself short either.

I’m wondering more about tomorrow’s matches – I have not been able to really get a lock on any of the ATP or WTA matches for tomorrow
