Masters Rome 2015: Partial ATP Predictions for May 14th

Predicted Winners in BOLD

Djokovic’s Economy of Motion is One Reason He is #1

[2] Roger Federer (SUI) vs [15] Kevin Anderson (RSA) Anderson’s serve could bother Roger as he did not return Kyrgios very well last week.  However, Anderson is not a classic clay court player and that will probably be to Roger’s advantage in terms of winning and saving his legs for next round.

[1] Novak Djokovic (SRB) vs [Q] Thomaz Bellucci (BRA) H2H – There was no joy in Rio as Thomaz struck out.

[5] Kei Nishikori (JPN) vs Viktor Troicki (SRB) Kei needs to keep his good form going as he lost some momentum in his loss to Murray in Madrid.

[6] Tomas Berdych (CZE) vs Fabio Fognini (ITA) H2H – I think Fabio could win.  His defensive skills are quite awesome when he is dialed into a match.  Still, Berdych has rarely lost matches he shouldn’t this year.
