It’s been just two weeks since Stanislas Wawrinka lifted the French Open title, but such is the swiftness of the transition from clay to the grass court season that the Wawrinka and co. will be donning the all-whites at Wimbledon as from next Monday.
Novak Djokovic retains the favourite’s tag, but he must quickly shake off the disappointment of failing to complete the career Slam at Roland Garros if he’s to successfully defend his title at the All England Club.
The Serbian has definitely found his feet on grass over the last few seasons. Djokovic has contested the Wimbledon final in three of the last four years, winning the title in 2011 and 2014, and losing the 2013 decider to Andy Murray.
