Petra Kvitova (CZE) [5] vs. Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (SVK) [32] – I don’t think this is an obvious win for Petra.  However, she is the favorite especially since winning in Connecticut.

Could Kerber be part of another 2015 instant classic?

Victoria Azarenka (BLR) [20] vs. Angelique Kerber (GER) [11] – Match of the day alert!  I like Vika’s chances, but Kerber will make her earn it.  Both players are quite athletic, but Vika’s serve is neutral whereas Kerber’s is a weakness.  Granted Kerber is a lefty, but I think Vika scraps her way to a win.

Shelby Rogers (USA) vs. Simona Halep (ROU) [2] – Simona should win this one.

Andrea Petkovic (GER) [18] vs. Johanna Konta (GBR) – Petko is a sneaky good player who is hard to eliminate.

Varvara Lepchenko (USA) vs. Mona Barthel (GER)

Sara Errani (ITA) [16] vs. Samantha Stosur (AUS) [22] – Stosur seems to be playing quite well.  Errors will tell the tale though.

Barbora Strycova (CZE) vs. Sabine Lisicki (GER) [24]

Flavia Pennetta (ITA) [26] vs. Petra Cetkovska (CZE) – I love Flavia, but Petra 2.0 seems like a good upset pick here.
