Is dropping Nick Kyrgios for Bernard Tomic the right decision for Davis Cup?

Australia’s Davis Cup captain made a bold decision to his Davis Cup team with just the one change replacing Nick Kyrgios with Bernard Tomic. Both players have made the headlines for the wrong reasons this year with Bernard being arrested in Miami a few months ago and of course Nick’s behaviour on court in Montreal which grabbed the headlines around the world and subsequently saw him fined by the ATP and given a suspended ban. However was it the right decision to drop him for Tomic?

Nick has a win/loss of 3/4 in Davis Cup with one of his wins being a retirement at 4-1 up in the fifth rubber in 2013 with the tie already won and has won one match when the tie is still alive in Perth in 2014 beating Denis Istomin.
