The 2016 ATP season is already one week old, and in terms of titles handed out this Sunday, it ranks as one of the busiest we’ll see all season.

Brisbane Final
Let’s start at the Brisbane International, where the Australian summer hard court season got underway in a very similar fashion to last year. Top seed Roger Federer, having gone three deep against an in form Grigor Dimitrov in the quarterfinals and handling Dominic Thiem in the semis, squared off against fourth seed Milos Raonic in a rematch of the 2015 Brisbane final (which Federer won for his 1000th ATP victory).

After dropping his first set of the tourney in a tiebreak to Ivan Dodig, Raonic found his range and ran off six sets in a row, including a double-tiebreak win over local favorite Bernard Tomic.
