Australian Open 2016: Day 8 Men’s Predictions

This fairly intense exhibition match went to Raonic

Predicted Winners in BOLD

[4] Stan Wawrinka (SUI) vs [13] Milos Raonic (CAN) – This is the match of the day.  Each man won a tune-up event, and each man has played well to reach this point.  I am torn.  I think experience will help Stan, but Milos has the eye of the tiger.  I am picking Stan in a coin flip type match.  I think both men will be hard to break, but Stan has a little more variety.

[2] Andy Murray (GBR) vs [16] Bernard Tomic (AUS) – Tomic has rounded some corners in the past 6-12 months, but he is not ready to win this match in this situation.

[23] Gael Monfils (FRA) vs Andrey Kuznetsov (RUS) – I could see this go either way, but I like picking an unseeded player.

[8] David Ferrer (ESP) vs [10] John Isner (USA) – Ferrer leads their head-to-head 6-1.  I have been wrong about both of these guys throughout the event so do the opposite of what I pick?
