Kohlschreiber has had some career success on grass and holds a 2-0 head-to-head lead over Dominic Thiem.  Both of their career matches were on clay, and Thiem made big improvements from the first match to the second.  On paper, everything seems to favor Kohlschreiber.  Dominic Thiem has had perhaps the 3rd best year on the ATP Tour behind Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.  A title on grass would demonstrate that Dominic Thiem is well on his way to being a top tier player.  I have doubted Thiem throughout the week. Maybe I should stick with that doubt as Kohlschreiber is an accomplished player who tends to win when he should win.  However, if Thiem is becoming an elite player then Kohlschreiber shouldn’t win this match.  Therefore, my pick will point toward the future.
