Predicted Winners in BOLD

Alexander Zverev (GER) vs. Marcos Baghdatis (CYP) H2H – A veteran making a late surge versus a young talent makes for an interesting match-up.  I like Zverev if solely because Baghdatis has dodged a few close calls to get to this point.

[1] Roger Federer (SUI) vs. [5] David Goffin (BEL) H2H – If Goffin returns well, I could see him pull an upset here.  Roger has to be the favorite given that he has won this title 8 times.

[3] Dominic Thiem (AUT) vs. [8] Philipp Kohlschreiber (GER) H2H – Rematch or revenge? I think Thiem wins due to having a little more game than just about everyone on tour.

Andreas Seppi (ITA) vs. [PR] Florian Mayer(GER) H2H – This is a 50-50 type match, but I will go with the home court advantage to make the difference.
