ATP World Tour Finals 2016: Nov. 14 Round Robin Predictions

First, I want to offer an apology for not having day 1 picks.  Life has been busy the previous 10 days, and I just could not get to them.  Also, I will put something up later today regarding the Czech Republic bringing home its 5th Federation Cup title in 6 years.

Predicted Winners in BOLD

(3) Stan Wawrinka VS (5) Kei Nishikori – Stan has played quite well at this event over the past 3 years.  Still, his play since the US Open has been spotty.  In a 3 of 5 set match, he’d likely find a way to push Nishikori to the end or pound him into submission.  Given his current form though, I think Kei wins in two sets.

(1) Andy Murray VS (7) Marin Cilic – Andy Murray should win this match.  Cilic has played well this fall winning Basel and reaching the semifinal round in Paris.  He also beat Murray in a big match in Cincinnati.  The London crowd and new number one ranking may add to Murray’s stress level.  Cilic can certainly win, but Murray should win.  I think Murray wins in two sets with one of them being either 7-5, or 7-6 in Murray’s favor.
