[1] Andy Murray (GBR) vs Fernando Verdasco (ESP) H2H – Verdasco can trouble Murray (see Wimbledon 2013), but I don’t see Murray losing unless Verdasco is zoning.  I never expect a player to zone so I will take Andy Murray to win 6-4, 6-4.

[2] Rafael Nadal (ESP) vs. Sam Querrey (USA) H2H – Unless Querrey is serving at an elite level and cracking his forehand, he has no chance to win.  The Australian Open seems to have rejuvenated Rafael Nadal for what seems like the 1000th time.  My prediction is that Nadal wins 6-1, 6-3.
