Wimbledon 2017: July 6th Gentlemen’s Singles Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

Novak Djokovic vs. Adam Pavlasek – Djokovic’s 2017 seemed to round a corner in Rome. He is going in the right direction now.  The biggest question is how quickly he can progress in that direction.  That answer shouldn’t impact this match in the least

Roger Federer vs. Dusan Lajovic – Federer should win and keep his grass court success going.

Milos Raonic vs. Mikhail Youzhny – If Raonic dictates play, he will win.  If he doesn’t, this could go into a 5th set.

Dominic Thiem vs. Gilles Simon – Thiem will need to show maturity to beat the cagey Simon.

Alexander Zverev vs. Frances Tiafoe – Fun match

Tomas Berdych vs. Ryan Harrison – I nearly picked Harrison, but I can’t think of a way he wins 3 of 5 sets unless Berdych implodes.

Grigor Dimitrov vs. Marcos Baghdatis – Baghdatis is not likely to take this one.

Gael Monfils vs. Kyle Edmund – The crowd will be the difference in my view.

Jack Sock vs. Sebastian Ofner

John Isner vs. Dudi Sela – A good day for Yanks?

Albert Ramos-Vinolas vs. Andrey Rublev

Mischa Zverev vs. Mikhail Kukushkin – The Zverev Brothers should have a good day.

Juan Martin Del Potro vs. Ernests Gulbis – Who knows???

Paolo Lorenzi vs. Jared Donaldson
