Wimbledon 2017: July 8th Gentlemen’s Singles Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

CENTRE COURT (1 p.m. start)

[2] Novak Djokovic (SRB) vs [PR] Ernests Gulbis (LAT) – I like Djokovic a lot in this match.

[3] Roger Federer (SUI) vs [27] Mischa Zverev (GER) [27] – Federer will need to take care of his serve, but he should come through in 3 or maybe 4 sets.

No.1 COURT

[6] Milos Raonic (CAN) vs [25] Albert Ramos-Vinolas (ESP) – Raonic is closing in on a big rematch of sorts.

[8] Dominic Thiem (AUT) vs Jared Donaldson (USA) – Thiem’s speed of adjustment to grass is the entire storyline here.  If he has not really adjusted, Donaldson could pull the upset.

SHOW COURTS (11:30 a.m. start)

No.2 COURT

[10] Alexander Zverev (GER) vs [Q} Sebastian Ofner (AUT) – Youth movement?

No.3 COURT

[13] Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) vs Dudi Sela (ISR)  – Is Grigor back to his January and February form?

[11] Tomas Berdych (CZE) vs David Ferrer (ESP) – If Ferrer finds his form he had versus Gasquet, maybe he can pull an upset.

COURT 12

[15] Gael Monfils (FRA) vs Adrian Mannarino (FRA) – Monfils is playing pretty well.
