Jerry Eaves grew up in Louisville and played basketball for the great Denny Crum. He helped the University of Louisville win its first NCAA men’s basketball championship in 1980. He also played in the NBA. He is now the athletic director at Simmons College of Kentucky while being a figure in sports media.
