Predicted Winners in BOLD
Third Round
Novak Djokovic (1) vs. Denis Istomin – If Novak is going to finish 2013 #1 he will need to do well at events such as this one.
Andy Murray (2) vs. Ernests Gulbis – Murray should win, but Gulbis does have the firepower to pull the upset if Murray is not playing well.
Benoit Paire vs. Marinko Matosevic – Paire has had a strong 2013.
Tomas Berdych (5) vs. Vasek Pospisil – I am going to call upset alert on this match.
Nikolay Davydenko vs. Alex Bogomolov Jr. – Davy making a comeback?
Rafael Nadal (4) vs. Jerzy Janowicz (15) – I love this match up as both guys play a super physical brand of tennis, but do so in completely different ways. I think Rafa is the favorite, but this should be an electric match.
Juan Martin del Potro (6) vs. Milos Raonic (11) – JMDP does not serve as big as Raonic, but he does everything else better. Still, Milos is on home soil and has posted 2 nice wins thus far.
Richard Gasquet (7) vs. Kei Nishikori (9) – I like Gasquet because he likes this event. This is close to a 50-50 match.

wow dan, now i am shocked you DID pick vasek. 😉 lol! that would be amazing for him if he beat berd. personally i don’t think he will. berd is just on another level. but, you never know. i can’t believe jerzy is hanging with rafa so far when his first serve % is barely over 40%!
I had to pick an upset so
He got set one – cool! 🙂
VASEK!!!!!!!! WHOOOO HOOOO!
Great call Dan! 😀
My picks have been barely better than 50% so far, but at Wimbledon I went like 4 days without missing a match so it evens out I guess.
Oh well. You pick some right and some wrong. It’s nice that you got to see Fed today.
yeah it was cool
