Anderson is coming off an impressive Western & Southern Open second-round win over Jack Sock, during which he looked like his usual solid self. He had a tough two-tiebreaker loss to Lukas Rosol last week in Montreal and is looking to gain some momentum going into the U.S. Open. Anderson has been a steady top 20 player for the last year, not typically losing to anyone outside of the top 30, but also not making any big breakthroughs, either.
