Ruben Bemelmans will be looking to cause a huge upset in the second rubber of the Davis Cup final. The world No. 108 will be looking to give the home crowd something to remember as he faces world No.2 and Britain’s leading star in Andy Murray.
Many (including myself) were surprised when it was not Steve Darcis but Ruben Bemelmans who was picked for the first singles tie. Bemelmens lost his only single tie this year (in the 1st round against Switzerland) and will be under pressure from his home crowd. However based on the form Murray has been in recently no one will be expecting the Belgian to win this- that might help him relax here.
