Masters Rome 2016: May 10th ATP Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

[6] Kei Nishikori (JPN) vs. Viktor Troicki (SRB) H2H – Kei has played well on clay as of late so based on his history he may lose here.  I, however, think he will be pretty steady in Rome.

[9] David Ferrer (ESP) vs. [Q] Filippo Volandri (ITA) H2H – Ferrer doesn’t lose matches like this (does he now?).

[4] Stan Wawrinka (SUI) vs. Benoit Paire (FRA) H2H – Stan needs to be sharp, but he should win.

[8] Tomas Berdych (CZE) vs. Albert Ramos-Vinolas (ESP) H2H – Berdych, like Ferrer, tends to win matches like this.

Philipp Kohlschreiber (GER) vs. [Q] Inigo Cervantes (ESP) H2H – Kohlschreiber has had a nice clay court season.

[12] David Goffin (BEL) vs. Jack Sock(USA) H2H – Can Sock push Goffin off the baseline often enough to win this match?

[Q] Ernests Gulbis (LAT) vs. [LL] Lucas Pouille (FRA) H2H – The extremely lucky loser?

[15] Roberto Bautista Agut (ESP) vs. [WC] Paolo Lorenzi (ITA) – RBA is a warrior on court.

Pablo Cuevas (URU) vs. Nicolas Mahut (FRA) H2H – Mahut had some nice results on the dirt in 2015, but that seems like a long time ago.

Jérémy Chardy (FRA) vs. [Q] Damir Dzumhur (BIH) H2H

[16] Kevin Anderson (RSA) vs. [PR] Juan Monaco (ARG) H2H – An upset?

[Q] Stéphane Robert (FRA) vs. [Q] Aljaz Bedene (GBR) H2H – One of these two will pocket some nice ranking points going forward.
