Milos Raonic vs. Andy Murray
These two had a great 4 sets at the Australian Open this year. The 5th set went quickly as Raonic dealt with an injury issue. Roanic won Brisbane, was runner-up at Indian Wells, and reached a major semifinal coming into Queen’s Club. Andy Murray has been runner-up at two majors in 2016 and won the Masters 1000 title in Rome. Each man has had some nice wins in 2016, but a win would help move their narratives away from having a nice year and toward having a winning year.
There should be a nice contrast of strengths and weaknesses in this match. Raonic has a massive serve and has shown a greater willingness to hit volleys in 2016. Andy Murray has a strong first serve, moves well, and counter-punches with skill. Murray has won 6 career titles on grass. Raonic is playing in his first grass court final. I think their match may come down to movement. Murray is a better mover than Raonic and has more career experience on grass.
My Prediction: Andy Murray d. Milos Raonic 7-6, 6-3
