Yoshihito Nishioka VS (2) Nick Kyrgios – Kyrgios being left out of the olympic games more than likely put him into the Atlanta draw.  Kyrgios has a great chance to reach an ATP final and purge some of the negativity that came from his Wimbledon and Toronto exits.

John Isner VS (WC) Reilly Opelka – 2.09 M/6’10” John Isner takes on 2.11 M/6’11” Reilly Opelka.  I think it is safe to say that sets are likely to end in tiebreaks.  Isner has a lot of experience of playing tour level tiebreaks with big rewards to the winner.  That makes me think Isner is the favorite, but with these two serves it really will be a coin flip.
