Predicted Winners in BOLD

John Isner (USA) vs. Jack Sock (USA) H2H – I’m expecting at least 2 sets that end in tiebreaks.

[1] Novak Djokovic (SRB) vs. [9] Marin Cilic (CRO) H2H – Novak didn’t dominate Dimitrov, but he is only 2 matches away from what could be seen as the tennis version of a prize fight (if we ignore Jimmy Connors series of matches in Vegas in the mid-1970s).

[2] Andy Murray (GBR) vs. [7] Tomas Berdych (CZE)  – I doubt coach Goran will lead to anyone calling Berdych “flashy”, but there is a bit of acrimony here.  Murray is playing too well for Berdych to beat him at the moment.

[4] Milos Raonic (CAN) vs. [11] Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) – Tsonga has a home court edge and played well in Vienna last week.  Would this be an upset?
