French Open 2017: June 3rd Men’s Singles Predictions

Predicted Winners in BOLD

Andy Murray (GBR) [1] vs. Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) [29] – I hope this is of the level of their Olympic and Davis Cup matches last year.

Richard Gasquet (FRA) [24] vs. Gael Monfils (FRA) [15] – Gasquet has looked sharp.

Feliciano Lopez (ESP) vs. Marin Cilic (CRO) [7] – Cilic should win, but I am not convinced that he will.

Stan Wawrinka (SUI) [3] vs. Fabio Fognini (ITA) [28] – Over the course of a 3 of 5 set match, I think Stan can win even if Fognini is on his game.

Hyeon Chung (KOR) vs. Kei Nishikori (JPN) [8] – Nishikori is playing well thus far.

Kyle Edmund (GBR) vs. Kevin Anderson (RSA) – Anderson’s power could let him hit through the court, but Edmund will likely overcome.

John Isner (USA) [21] vs. Karen Khachanov (RUS) – I think if Khachanov can beat Berdych he can beat Isner.  Of course, Isner is playing some of his best clay court tennis.

Fernando Verdasco (ESP) vs. Pablo Cuevas (URU) [22] – I like Cuevas’ chances here, but Hot Sauce is always dangerous.
